A vibrantly painted tiny hat, topped with green and aqua flowers is upcycled from re-purposed trash. It’s a one of a kind hat for a one-of-a-kind goddess embracing the wacky feminine. Secure with bobby pins through lace loops.
Aqua & Green Flower Upcycled Tiny Painted Hat
The 3 green and aqua flowers topping this whimsical art tiny painted hat, are made from egg cartons. They are highlighted with pearlized white shimmer. The base is a small plastic bowl painted inside and out. The paints are acrylic and the entire hat has been lacquered multiple times. The forest and aqua chiffon is ribbon is a seam scrap. And the green lace loops, for bobby pins that hold the hat on your head, I dug out of my mama's ribbon box.

Care:
Hold sides of the bowl not the brim or the flowers. Wipe off with a light touch. No abrasive materials. Store in a dry place.
While this hat is lacquered and water-resistant, it is not necessarily waterproof. Remove and cover it if caught in the rain or when near misters. If it does get wet, gently shake off water droplets, pat with a tea towel, and set it in the sunshine or in front of a fan to dry.
Styling Ideas:
Looks great alone or over a colorful or powdered wig or a feathered cap
Keep the silly look simple with a solid or colorful dress, pantsuit, or costume
For more dramatic occasions, pair it up with one of my upcycled festival skirts or a piece of upcycled jewelry
